97-98 Bulls Documentary (The Last Dance)

I don't know what he's so upset about. He didn't look that bad. Hell, this gave him a chance at a mea culpa over quiting on his team and he doubled down on it! As for his contract, he decided to take the long term guaranteed money even though everyone, including his agent and freakin Reinsdorf, told him not to sign a long term deal. You can't sign the contract and then purposefully put off surgery to fix an injury because you're pissed about it on the backend and not expect blowback. It was selfish. That said, overall I thought he came off pretty well in the doc.

I do understand Horace being pissed though.

Wish I could find a better video, but here you go:

Funny story regarding that Fred dunk. I taped the tape and re-watched that Fred dunk several times. My grandma didn't realize I was rewinding so she just kept see dunk after dunk from Fred and she said "Fred sure is having a good game" :D

I thought Pip came out of the documentary well. I don't think he was portrayed in a bad light, other than maybe when Jordan hinted at him being selfish for sitting out part of the final season.

If anything, the documentary was a good reminder for people like me of just how good Pippen was. I was still relatively young when they were playing together, so I've always just thought of him as the "other guy". The documentary reminded me he was really damn good.

Yes, especially the year after MJ retired, and seeing Scottie grow into leadership for a team that honestly wasn't that bad.

That Malcolm Kerr story is crazy.

Also, I didnt realize Steve's first year at Zona was for Lute.

his whole career was with Lute Olson. He played with Sean Elliot, and Kenny lofton. They made the final 4 and lost to Danny and the miracles.

he shot some ridiculous percentage from 3 his sr year. Every time he’d make one and the pa guy would say 3 by Steve Kerr, the entire Arizona crowd would yell Steve Kerr. It was pretty cool.
