#4 plants ISU flag at midfield

It was the State of Iowa flag.

This. And that's why it didn't seem so cocky. It was more this is for the state of Iowa than just ISU. And OU brought it on themselves by doing it in Columbus.

I just can't wait for the crying about being in the Big 12 when this loss costs them a shot army the playoff. If this is their only loss, it will be, well, they lost to ISU.

Honestly, I expect us to whoop Kansas, and then it's game on for the confidence factor; amplified by the gritty work ethic this team shows, I am very excited for rest of these games.

I guess I wish that he wouldn't have done it. I hate to give an unfocused team like OU something to dwell on for a whole year. Also, I would like the players to act like they earned it, which they did.

Just a bit of Mayfield reaping what he sowed. He doesn't plant the flag, we don't think of it.

I like it. Let 'em know what we think of their cocky antics, and let them know whose house that place is today.
Agree, I wouldn't want us to do it to another team since it is kind of a **** thing to do, but since Mayfield did it to OSU I think it's fair

There's actually a decent chance that planting our flag could have synched up with one of the 900 annual earthquakes the minute we thrust it into the Oklahoma soil.

most OU fans taking it well.

I do find it funny when schools act like calling us farmers like it is some type of insult. I'm proud of ISU's AG background even though I don't have an AG degree. #AHF #FarmStrong

IDK how they think they get their food.

Yes people from Kansas and Oklahoma who think they are somehow less rural and country than Iowa give me endless enjoyment. One because they're so stupid to think that. Two because there's nothing wrong with rural, small town, or ag life. I think Oklahoma is almost identical population to Iowa and Kansas is like half the population.
