That doesn't look so good.
I wonder in the history of luge did singles or doubles come first, were they doing singles for awhile and then someone was like, "you know what, I could throw another guy on top of me and do this."?
I always wondered if people who do luge were winning which kid could slide the furthest while sledding as a kid and they won and though "Man I need to become pro at this".
I wonder how it must feel knowing that you beat the world record, but ended up in second place and the person who beat you also beat the world record.
Singles was first. Guessing some guy gave his girlfriend a ride and a couple guys thought, hey doubles!
I wonder about the origin of many winter Olympic sports. I was watching mogul skiing today where they just add a few ramps and they do some tricks midway through. So it's both timed and judged. Someone, somewhere decided mogul skiing wasn't quite enough and they needed to do a few flips in the middle.

I learned that there's an event that combines ski jumping and cross country skiing, unfortunately it's not quite as cool as it could be, I briefly thought they landed the ski jump and went directly into cross country skiing.
They should make the biathlon be ski jumping and shooting instead gotta shoot while in the air. Not a great spectator event probably
They are just waiting for a team brave enough to show that it can be done. What they need is an ice dance going down the luge track
Luge Team Relay is on now. It’s kind of fun, they have to sit up and slap a pad at the end, which opens the gate at the top for the next luge teammates at the top.
