***2026 Winter Olympics (Milano Cortina) Thread***

Is US women's hockey considered to be the powerhouse? Kind of assumed it would be Canada but apparently not based on the head-to-head result.
Has mostly been Canada history wise but with this current team I believe the USA has been pretty dominant the last couple years. Think they have beat Canada now 7 times in a row in International play.

Having 4th Surgery on Leg then hoping to go back to the US where she will then have a 5th surgery.

Look up what a complex tibia fracture is and you’ll see why. By the way I can’t believe they kept showing Federica Brignone’s accident earlier this year (who won the Super G), that was sick.

Things getting chippy in curling

I don't see the problem. He was touching the stone like 1" past the line? That didn't look intentional. It's not enough to gain an advantage. There's no way Sweden could see that with the naked eye and be confident enough to call him out. Was Canada doing that every time?

If someone accuses you of cheating, that seems like an appropriate response.

I like the drama though.

EDIT: I stand corrected. Looks like it's illegal to touch the stone surface at any point. Can only touch the handle. I still don't know what kind of advantage he'd gain, but the stone touch looked intentional.

I agree with your edited part. I also have no idea if it provides an advantage, but it did look intentional to me. I’d give the guy the benefit of a doubt, but his reaction was out of line. Like he was lashing out cause he got caught

Great dime from T Heise, plus some extracarriculars. Can't see the pass until they show the replay

Lot of chatter online about compartment syndrome and amputation risk.
