He was a really good amateur who decided not to play college golf so maybe that’s why it took a little longer. Nice payday for him but his grandfather is reportedly worth >9 billion dollars

I also heard the story that he will be the sole heir.

But I guess stories in this day and age really need confirmation.

Talk about pressure free golf.

keep the LIV out so these young players can stay
Sounds like LIV could have a potential new sponsor and player...

I thought they said on the broadcast he went to Texas for a semester and bailed.

When you’re Norwegian with that kind of wealth in your background and future Austin is going to look like Tijuana on donkey show night.

First time ever hearing of this dude and it's him first being dumb getting to the tee late while his caddie was apparently yelling at him to hurry, and then either firing his caddie or saying he fired him after he quit. Good start, bud.

His comments about being late but actually being on time told me about all I needed to know. But sure, blame your caddie.

This is the kid that was 5 years old with chocolate all over his face and when someone asked who ate the chocolate, he said he didn't know but it certainly wasn't him and he's mad that you asked.

It's wild how much run that story is getting. Am I the only person who couldn't care less that a middle of the pack golfer I've never heard of was late to his tee time?

The story would have been over right when it started had he said "I screwed up". Five days later and that hasn't happened, yet he's continuing to keep the story alive by saying and doing things that make him look silly. Who doesn't enjoy a little schadenfreude?

He was so close to letting it pass right away. He mentioned that he was trying to stay out of the cold as long as possible. All he had to do was say, "I cut it too close. It was a mistake. It won't happen again." Boom, over.

Appears Koepka finally making some putts. 8 under thru 15 holes today thus far.

You know it’s an off week low ball tournament when the coverage talked about Spieth incessantly and he’s tied for 47th.

Killing the course so far today. Many others at -6 for the round as well.
