I agree. ISU and UH are both very physical teams - like WVa under Thuggy. The difference is that Otz and Sampson don't gripe, moan and yell at the officials the entire game.

Agree but would have low expectations and a fun job to ride off into the sunset after a few years. He does have a house in Fountain Hills/ Scottsdale area

Coach Huggins probably could be enticed for minimum coach's pay. The dude wins wherever he coaches. Of course, you have to put up with the occasional drunken slur.

Coach Fred Hoiberg is into building a legacy for himself at Nebraska. I do not believe he would leave for the KSU job; however, if he were offered the KU job I believe he would accept that position. Any winning that Fred can accomplish at Nebraska is legendary. The school is 0-8 all time in the NCAA Tournament in 8 tournament appearances.
Fred would accept the KU job before the person offering it finished the sentence (as would most coaches)! It would be very interesting to see him get that type of job...he is a competitor for sure...but would he enjoy the pressure of fans expecting to win every single game...by double digits? I think that might be a grind he doesn't want to face any longer...but there is no doubt he would kill for the KU job!

I’ve seen some rumors about Ohio State possibly targeting Otz if they fire Diebler. Can’t see him leaving for that job.

I don't think Ohio State is as good of a job as it was in the past. Rumor has been with Ohio State fans I know. That the basketball operations is pretty upset that the AD is pretty focused on putting their efforts into NIL and player rev sharing for Football.
Now i always take fan opinions with a grain of salt since who really knows how the money situation is, but I wouldn't find it hard to believe that the Ohio State is putting their eggs into football since that is their golden goose.

Ohio State wouldn’t be a job I’d be super worried about for Otz. Kentucky I would be worried about.
That would be interesting...Otz matched with the egos of the kids Kentucky usually recruits! Hope we never have to see it though!
He's the perfect fit there BECAUSE Kentucky needs to stop recruiting those kids.
Part of the reason Campbell is gone is because JP understands people will be coming for TJ and he has to offer enough to keep him here.
