People complain about the dodgers but they’re doing what more teams should, spend money to win the World Series. It’s the rules that are bad, no salary floor or cap.

Not to Cave the thread, but I’m feeling the exact opposite. After we started an unnecessary trade war with our closest neighbor, I would love to see them beat us at our own game.

On the Canadian broadcast of the WS every third commercial is about how they are going to retool their economy now that they have been isolated on trade. I would hope people anywhere on spectrum can realize how bizarre and unprecedented that is. Sort of like UK “keep calm and carry on” vibe.

They did win 92 games this year, but never really felt like a threat to contend for the WS. Having to go through the Dodgers as currently constructed played a factor in that though.
