I'm actually pretty good with this. They'll go immediately into their bye week, and don't lose a home game. If they're going to do two, this is the best case scenario.

Which also means fans will go nearly a month between home games

So here is how this works: The Vikings contract with US Bank stadium only allows them to play ONE home game in Europe (or any other international spot) every FIVE years. I believe they played a home game last year in London... so it will be a while before they give up a home game.

I actually love the fact we don't have to go to Pittsburgh or Cleveland. Get 2 neutral site games over 2 road games. And, people in the UK seem to love the Vikings so it could end up being somewhat of a home game

All depends on where you stay. You can go cheap or ritzy! I've done Europe in youth hostels, Bed and Breakfast (my fave), hotels, and in a rented room in a house. It all varies and all are fun experiences.

NOTE: in Ireland, the best is stay with an Irish family in their home. They are truly amazing hosts. They will make you a traditional Irish breakfast every morning for you.
