Thank goodness that stiff is gone. I'd have sooner kept Mond than Manion. I'm fine with both being gone. I don't think we need 3 anyway.

If you had to play Mond or Mannion any appreciable amount of games, your season is over. If you save one dollar in cap space to replace them, you do it.

The obsession in the NFL with some of these terrible QBs like Mannion as backups because they know the playbook is so dumb. 99% of these guys you're not going to do anything with them playing, so you might as well save cap space or have a lottery ticket type of guy with some upside.

If you have a loaded roster and are in a win-now situation, especially with an injury-prone QB, paying up for a good backup makes sense. In every other case, having a better backup isn't going to make a difference. You aren't going anywhere with almost any backup QB anyway.

Everyone will talk about the Eagles but that's not too common. Thankfully our qb is not injury prone
 
Waiving Watts for salary dump for the Titans DT. Wild stuff. Something still incoming?????

Foles was only four years removed from a Pro Bowl season, and made sense with a good roster, and a young QB whose history and playing style suggest injury risk.

Watts has been around for awhile and hasn't ever really done much. He was pencilled in as on of the starting DEs, I'm the new 3-4, but can anyone actually say they were excited about that. He is really bad against the run, and that's one of the primary jobs of a 3-4 end.
 
Can Reagor return punts?

I do like that KAM and KOC are taking the opposite approach as Spielman on 7th rounders. They are nearly worthless. So you might as well use them to trade for pieces that are more proven.
