***2026 Minnesota Vikings***

JJ isn’t an nfl qb. Fully out on him. And we need a GM change after the year. Failure all around
thought this was fairly obvious even in his Michigan days.....he didn't do anything to propel Michigan to victory other than game manage and do the bare minimum. He's never been a good passer and unfortunately, that is literally the main requirement to be a competent NFL qb......it's gonna be a looooooong year

I’m to the point where they need to tear the team down and start a rebuild. This “competitive rebuild” isn’t working, especially when they can’t draft quality players

Of course, even if they were to get a top 5 pick for each round, I have little faith now this leadership can draft the right players.

Kwesi has now been here long enough where we should be seeing good values in the draft pics. The majority of the picks have been busts.

It’s going to be a rough next 3 or so years….
If that's so, let's hope our failures land us a real franchise QB then...and the Vikings don't mess that up in the draft!

I know JJ is young, but we have not seen any progress in his development this year. Since the QB class this year isn’t deep, expect JJ to be QB next year. But next year would be the “prove it” year. Got to move on if he’s not the guy. And right now, he’s no where near the guy
I think he will obviously play the rest of the season, but if there isn’t much improvement by seasons end I think the front office/ownership is going to have a serious discussion if JJ can actually be developed into a franchise QB. If KOC and staff say “yes” I think Vikings probably see a massive reset and restart as in lots of players traded/cut.

If the staff doesn’t think he can I imagine the Vikings make a massive trade somewhere for a QB like Trevor Lawrence who seems he needs new scenery and greener pastures.

I've never seen a fan base so ready to give up on a QB as fast as a lot of vocal Viking fans are with JJ. I agree it has been bad, but he's played in something like 6 nfl games and has had little time to develop due to injuries. He just became a Dad for the first time during this current hell storm as well. I guess I'm just willing to have a longer leash for him still at this point. He's been getting beat by teams that are vying for playoffs berths in a season that has felt lost since week 3 or 4 for the Vikings. Schedule lightens up down the stretch, I'm not willing to send him down the Mississippi yet.

I think most of the jumping ship is fans see other QBs who were in same draft class or maybe one sooner are doing so well and did do well in first seasons. I think it’s legitimately something to be worried about.

When you are getting that paycheck you need to show some hope that you are worth it. Him and his wife can afford a nanny. Hopefully he gets better if not he's still set for life.

It’s not that he’s been bad, he’s been one of all time worst QB’s in the league. Yes, this is a small sample size. But we have seen zero progress in his development. And he is throwing to arguably a top 5 receiving corps in the league. If you can’t be successful with these receivers/TE’s, you’re just not going to make it in this league

I would feel differently if we saw some progress. Maybe by seasons end we can see that. But as of now, I have serious doubts he is the long term solution for that position

I full understand all of the arguments against him, and appreciate the feedback. I guess I'm just willing to be more patient. The savior we all seek isn't likely in this years crop of draft QBs, so I feel like we have to ride with JJ at least thru the rest of this season and likely into the next.

also the fact that while he's a rookie, he has one of the best supporting casts around him and he's still struggling......JJ (Justin Jefferson) has to be incredibly frustrated right now

This season makes total sense. The season is lost and you need to see as much of him as possible. QB development is the secondary job. The first job is evaluating if he’s worth developing. Right now that answer looks like no. Maybe that will all change and something clicks. But he needs to get a lot better really fast. He hasn’t been “young inexperienced QB” bad. He’s been historically bad.

It’s been worse than Zach Wilson’s start to his career and that’s saying something

Have to get rid of Kwesi first.
100% correct. He cannot be trusted to screw up another draft and leave us with no young depth and talent. That is the biggest problem the franchise has right now. No young talented depth. He is SO bad at talent evaluation.

Bad year to have Justin Jefferson on my fantasy team. Started the year pretty good, but I may have to bench him for the rest of the season to have any chance of playoffs at all.

Hated the pick when they originally made it. I felt like any college fan could’ve told you that JJ wasn’t an NFL guy. He played for a team that made his best play, handing off the ball to the running back.

The Vikings are built for a passing qb. I understand the NFL’s desire to draft QBs but sometimes you got to draft best player available and not position need. Though idk if Viking fans can trust Kwesi to draft good.

I’ve been a “we got to give him time and let him develop” even if it means a bad year but after Sunday. I just don’t know if JJ will ever be serviceable. The kid just looks like he doesn’t have it.

Saw Teddy play last night. He struggled quite a bit. But even watching him play I thought to myself "He's still better than JJ"
