***2026 Minnesota Vikings***

Not saying Wentz is setting the world on fire, but the whole team seems to have had a little extra zip in their step right from the start. Like they knew which QB gives them the best chance to win.

Or they knew they better kick ass because it’s gonna take a team effort

As good as Wentz looked, it should be factored that the OLine did a far better job at pass protection than the first two games. Having Darisaw back makes a huge difference across the line. I think many QB’s will look great vs the Bengals this season

Once JJ is healthy, I imagine JJ will be taking over again, which likely will be after the bye week.

Whether they ride Lentz or go back to JJ, I have complete faith in KOC's decision. Not going to get too attached to it either way.

Having Addison back will be a difference maker too.

The OL has been WORTHLESS without Darrisaw. Night and day difference with him back.

Now, if only he could stay healthy...

The thing I saw with Wentz was decisive reads. Make a read, get the ball out. The line held up much better, but if it performs anything like the first 2 weeks that's what you are going to need. No doubt Wentz is able to process more information more quickly, which is what you may need for a while.

Most the others still stink but they can scheme it for help better with at least one strong point.
He may be more important that JJ given the talent drop off.

Now knowing that Jackson played all game with a wrist injury and played well is impressive. Glad it’s not long term and he should be back for Philly, because he has shown some promise these first few weeks

I think it is too early to write off JJ, especially since he played behind a completely garbage OL for his first 2 games. I'm all for throwing him in the deep end and seeing what we have. I think that was the main point of this season. We didn't sign Rodgers or keep Darnold because we needed to see what JJ was. While i have not been impressive by JJ, it wasn't like Wentz blew me away either.

If Wentz keeps winning, sure keep playing him just like a hot goalie in hockey, but 2 games is hardly a sample size we can make definite conclusions on JJ. It would've been nice to see what JJ could've done against the bengals with all the defensive support Wentz got. I think it would've allowed for a low-pressure game for JJ to feel relaxed in.

And now Wentz looks to be holding too long and trying to scramble. That won't work against their DL, especially with our continually dying OL.
