***2026 Minnesota Vikings***

Oof this is starting to feel like a guy that is going to have nagging injuries impact his ability to play, I hope that’s not the case.
This doesn't change anything with the initial recovery timeline and is pretty common from what Seifert and others reported. He never had a history of injuries at Michigan, he'll be fine

28 first downs, 170 yds on the ground, 42+ minutes possession time.
You never like to blame it on one person...especially in football. But holy crap, Darnold almost look like he was purposely throwing that game...he was fine between the 20s...but was abysmal inside that.

The game isn't on here in Omaha but looking at their drives in the second half it seems the Vikings dusted off their patented prevent offense.

Nailor dropped a touchdown pass from Darnold in the 2nd half which would’ve put the game away earlier. Otherwise they would get to the 50 or just into Tennessee territory and stall

It was the exact opposite of that, actually -- MIN was blitzing unnecessarily and giving up massive coverage busts over and over again from it. Once they backed off into normal looks, TEN couldn't hardly move the ball.

This is worthless without a rough idea where those picks were. Seems like Spielman was always after drafting 11 6th and 7th rounders annually hoping to strike gold once.
And considering there are both good teams and crappy teams on both ends of that list, I think it's fair to say that it's a pretty worthless metric to judge anything by.

Spielman loved quantity of picks over quality of picks.

Would you rather have Kirk for 45 million a year or Darnold for 10?

Yeah he is inconsistent but he has play some good football too.
I'm happy with him while hopefully jj gets ready
I was banking on a lost season and i have been pleasantly surprised

He's performed better than expectations and that's all we can ask.

I’d say a better indicator might be how many of your draft picks you try to sign to a second contract. But even without knowing the exact parameters used in this metric, I don’t think I’d want to be perennially in last place.

Good start to the game there Aaron! A yard to go on the opening drive and he fumbles on the one. This Vikings team turns it over a lot.
