If you qualify for a major and aren't completely disabled, you should at least give it a go. Just making the cut can get you quite a few points in the season race.Sounds like Morikawa is playing but his driver yardages are quite a bit lower than normal.
I get that but should you risk it when your back is obviously not healthy? If you qualify for a major and aren't completely disabled, you should at least give it a go. Just making the cut can get you quite a few points in the season race.

He's not going to push it. He'll play smart and withdrawal if it anything doesn't feel right. He's probably gotten multiple medical specialists opinions on whatever he's dealing with.I get that but should you risk it when your back is obviously not healthy?
He will probably catch a little heat for this back home but he is also correct:
In the words of the great philosopher Chael Sonnen, "Of course his back hurts, it's inside a wimp"He's not going to push it. He'll play smart and withdrawal if it anything doesn't feel right. He's probably gotten multiple medical specialists opinions on whatever he's dealing with.
If it was one of the amateur qualifiers, or a pro that won an event and qualified for first time (maybe not do it again), I would agree with you on fighting through it. For someone like Morikawa, he might figure that winning, or even making the cut, could be a long shot, and doesn't want to tweak things further and mess up the entire year.If you qualify for a major and aren't completely disabled, you should at least give it a go. I say this every year but it needs to be repeated. The Masters has the worst coverage of any tournament every year. Any other tournament would already have coverage started with a Main feed somewhere. The Masters doesn't even have a Main feed going until noon CST and it's on Prime.
