I had it on in the background while I was doing some work in the garage. I wish Connor Daly could catch a break and get a full time ride. He was running in the top ten a whole lot on Sunday which given he had a one off ride was pretty impressive.
Fantastic race. I am hoping the viewership goes up on Indy in the future. All of the races, not just the 500. I think it's the best open wheel racing right now and the last few years. F1 is my favorite for the behind the scenes drama and the personalities, however, Indy racing is far better racing the last few years.
What happened? How did Rosenqvist get such a burst at the end? Or was it Malukas slowing down or taking a bad line?

As the leader you are a sitting duck when another car gets in your aero profile.
If you watch a lot of Indy 500 races you will notice the fastest cars do not want to be in first place the last few laps. Actually the last 50 laps. You can draft and save fuel, then the last lap you can pick the slip stream up and make the pass.
