I'm not sure this is 100% true. I think there was also some positional/scheme questions that made us perhaps not his best fit. Small to be an end in our system (he's not Will McDonald level freak) and maybe didn't want to play linebacker for us? Likely fits better as a true DE/Edge rusher in another system

Name to watch... Iowa State is the first Power Four offer for Saline (Michigan) 2026 QB Tommy Carr. Pretty much like watching a young Connor Moberly. Will be tough to get a commitment (most likely). His brother is a QB at Notre Dame and he is the grandson of former Michigan coach Lloyd Carr.
