Dolph: “Randy Peterson in the house today to cheer on the Hawks. At least he won’t have to worry about a Cyclone fan breaking his leg today “. What a ******* idiot. He tripped over a cord. There wasn’t a person within 10 feet of him when he fell.

and they say we are the little brother. so much inferiority complex in that bunch.

Since the bracket was revealed, we’re 2-3 with all three losses to ranked teams (2 in top ten, 2 on the road).

Illinois has gone 2-2, with one of the losses to a ranked team (the other to a pretty average UCLA team) and wins over worse teams).

Our loss to Arizona and theirs to Michigan even out. Call our loss at BYU even with their loss at UCLA.

To move Illinois past us, you have to believe that their two wins against Oregon and Maryland are way more impressive than our wins over Utah and ASU and loss to ranked TT. Just not seeing it

If any of you have been on CycloneFanatic.com for a while you know that I am a proud dual ISU/UNI fan.

Not ashamed to let the board know that I was sobbing tears of joy at the end of the UNI game. Just a huge accomplishment for that team to win four games in four days like that after an underachieving regular season.

I love March for the tournament, and I love it even more when my two favorite teams are playing in it.

I have family connections to UNI so while not nearly as strong as ISU fandom I like when they succeed.

Hawk fans love to keep narratives going.

Comparing resumes and I agree, ISU is ahead of Illinois. My seed list…

1.) Duke
2.) Michigan
3.) Arizona
4.) Florida
5.) UConn
6.) Houston
7.) ISU
8.) Michigan State
9.) Illinois

The only wrinkle is if Michigan State can pull out the win today. That puts them neck and neck with Houston for 6 imo.

Anybody ever notice that Nebraska has Football type cheerleaders behind the benches on the sidelines? A weird ode to Football - I suppose, as I cannot ever remember seeing that at any other basketball game.
