A friend of mine is down there today and things aren't looking great for him. I also learned this week that PGA Class A Professionals (you might have one or more in your pro shop) can go for free and without tickets.

To actually have the chance he has to get off the shoot 72 in the first round train which he’s pretty consistently been on.

Man, this course is so punishing if you get on the wrong side of the hole. I think I could play the course reasonably well until it got to the greens, and then I'd get eaten alive with my short game problems.
