I absolutely love the The Master's but listening to these announcers completely over evaluate every little thing just wears me out.

Still doesn't have a main broadcast until 2pm CST. Every PGA Tour event has a main broadcast start at 8 am CST along with all the featured groups and featured holes. I have no idea why the biggest golf tournament doesn't have a main broadcast all day.
Pretty simple, they don't need the money. They can hold out and have full control like they do with absolutely no obligation to relinquish any of that control. Hell, it was huge when you started getting more than just the back 9 from the leaders on Saturday and Sunday.

But they already have featured group and featured hole coverage all day on ESPN+ just like every other tournament. Just add one more feed.

I've been saying for years that the Master's has the worst television coverage of any golf tournament. A regular PGA Tour event has better coverage.
But it's the Master.

The coverage is a bit interesting as I though ESPN had early round coverage. I have watched the last couple days on Paramount plus. Sure it's just certain holes/feature group but its gotta decrease ESPN viewership.

Wasn’t all that long ago they didn’t let you see front nine like it was some damned state secret.
