Alcaraz cemented himself as favorite heading into French yesterday but Sinner was impressive in the tournament after the long layoff from suspension. Right now i'd put liklihood of the champion like this:
Alcaraz 60%
Sinner 30%
Zverev 5%
Djokovic 3%
Rudd 1%
Rest 1%

I'm really excited for TNT's coverage this year they've done a good job of marketing it all month.

I'd put Mussetti and Draper as dark horses to make the semi-final, or potential final if they can upset Alcaraz or Sinner. They're playing as well as Ruud on clay right now. He has more experience than them though with deep runs in grand slams.

I have little confidence Djokovic can make it all the way through without getting injured at this point. You still have to list him as a contender just because of who he is.

I think your percentages are spot on. Alcaraz is too good on clay right now. Zverev could maybe be higher based on his clay court history, but he has not been very good since Australia.

Excellent point on musetti in particular. I'm actually going to put him above Rudd in my favorites because he has a game with his shot making that I could see him upsetting Alcaraz or sinner that I can't see with Rudd.

only worry with Alcaraz though is sometimes he can be erratic with his groundies. Last year in FO semis 2 sets he lost to sinner he just gave away with errors. His best is the best on Clay currently though.

I don't get Djokovics lead up, pulling out of Rome made some sense if he wants the rest or hurting but now playing in Geneva week prior seems odd

Women's Semis are set:

1. Sabalenka vs. 5. Swiatek

2. Gauff vs. Boisson

Will be Gauff vs. everybody tomorrow. Hopefully she can send the Frenchies home sad.

Be a big win for French open/womens tennis with the finals possibles. French long shot and 3 of the best players left. I think the tournament has to be happy

Mens quarters have been mostly unwatchable aside from couple sets of Tiafoe/Mussetti. Hopefully Zverev and Djokovic Is a classic. Djokovic has raised his game past few matches and I think he's slight favorite to get to Semi's

Gauff buries the Frenchie 6-1 6-2 to move on to the Final vs. Sabalenka.

Really looking forward to the ladies final and men's Semis tomorrow.

I keep going back and forth on Djokovic/Sinner. Ultimately I lean Sinner but if it goes 5 I think Djokovic wins. Redoing odds from beginning this is how I see it :

Alcaraz 50%
Sinner 30%
Djokovic 19%
Musseti 1%

I think Gauff wins in 3 but it's near a pickem for me.

Whats everyone else got?

Musetti retires in the 4th set so Alcaraz on to the Final.

Djokovic & Sinner supposedly suppose to start at Noon.

Big break for Alcaraz he wasn't playing well. Regardless of who plays Sunday he'll need to bring higher level. Hope we get a great match for last Semi
