On the road...
Anyone going to Boji on Thursday evening, where the Ames Lager will be flowing of course, please stop by and check out our new outdoor Terrace at West O before or after. We also have a brand new expanded menu from our brick oven kitchen!

I would disagree with that notion that 'anyone' can just pull their kid out of school. Some parents aren't able to get out of work on one particular day. Also, my kids only get like 20-30 minutes for lunch - factor in the drive to/from the tailgate stop & it's likely 3-4x their lunch period. Not to mention we're at the end of the school year & there are new attendance rules in Iowa now.
It's either a noon stop or no stop in certain towns. It's not perfect for everyone, but I would say it's better than no stop.

I get why they do it but it definitely limits a lot of people. I would be the first one to pull little JM from school to go tomorrow in Waterloo but there’s literally no way logistically to make it work. Sucks because that used to be a night stop for so many years.
I imagine Waterloo will be a night stop next year. Hopefully the can alternate it some.

Those who are upset about the changes in scheduling be thankful that you have a stop at all. We in the Twin Cities had a stop the first two years. The first year there was severe weather and had poor turn out because people weren't willing to take their kids out in severe weather warnings. We cancelled going. The second year they had record low temperatures at an indoor/outdoor event. We went but again turnout was understandably poor.

They cancelled the Twin Cities stop after that.

We drove down to Mason City one year, but it is a lot of driving for a short event. We are considering going down tomorrow night to Clear Lake.

There are a few rotating noon stops Humboldt, Webster City, I think Paton and Clarion have both been in it. I don't remember if Ft Dodge has ever gotten a noon stop.

One of these yrs I'd like to do either MC or Boji.

I've never thought about Dresser as a "small hands" kind of guy.

Went last night in Davenport. I thought it was the biggest ever turn out for the event. It was at the Rhythm City Casino. Really a great venue for it.

Yes, all the kids got miniature Rocco "3" tees/jerseys.

All of the coaches are very good sports and engaging at these events. Campbell is incredibly engaging and kind to little kids.
