***2025 PGA Tour Thread***

good lord what an implosion. Xander's drive looked like one of mine and that's not a good thing.

Until the PGA and Ryder Cup get over themselves and figure out a way to get a proper ranking of players - that includes LIV players as well - this will continue to happen. Europe did that. USA did not. It's still the good ole boys club. Say what you want, but I would rather have Patrick Reed and Brooks Koepka than several of the other guys that "qualified" for the team. And the results are showing it. Very disappointing.

I don't think it's about a proper ranking of players. I think it's about several of our "stars" (Cantlay, Xander, Spieth, Koepka, Finau, etc.) simply forgetting how to golf and having no youth to take their spot.

I get what Keegan was trying to do by only sending out the experienced players in the first session, but that obviously worked against them.

US has got to get away from the idea that experience is a good thing. It has hurt them in the past when making captain's picks, and hurt them this morning with pairings. Let them young hungry guys play, especially with a home crowd.

Also, Europe only have two LIV guys on their roster (Rahm, Hatton). U.S. has DeChambeau. “Ignoring” LIV has nothing to do with this performance

3-1 going into afternoon would be a win.

even a tie wouldn't feel great. need the point.

This would be a HUGE point. Maybe give them some momentum and life going into the afternoon.

Won’t be holding my breath though…. I thought Europe had the better team going in, and nothing has changed that this morning.
