2025 NFL Draft

Is there still a Big12 NFL combine? That was something new and ground breaking that Yormark started recently. That is later right, after the NFL combine?

Edit: I guess it's called a Pro Day. I'm not seeing it for 2025...?

They didn’t announce it until a week before (March 20) last year.

If I were the Browns, I would trade Myles Garrett for a bunch of picks and draft Abdul Carter. They are hamstrung anyways by the Watson deal so rebuilding makes a lot of sense. Bring in a Justin Fields/Kirk Cousins/Sam Darnold to fill in the next year or two and draft a QB next year.

Because we are talking Cleveland, they will screw up and not do the logical/smart move.

They should learn from Carolina's mistake of not trading Brian Burns for two 1st's when they had the chance but it's the Browns so they won't.

Before Watson got hurt, I thought they should trade back and get more draft capital, and just roll with Watson one more year.

With Watson hurt though, I’d take Ward (assuming Tennessee doesn’t and doesn’t trade the first pick to a team who takes Ward).

A rookie QB will help provide hope to the franchise and his rookie salary would help the team navigate the cap, as Watson’s cap hit is enormous. They could probably nab another first-round pick(s) for Garrett too.

Plus, it's always good if you can have a rookie be your backup for a year to learn and develop. Teams mostly just want to throw their rookie into the fire right away, but very few of them can handle it. Ward being a backup for a year would be beneficial to him and to the team. But I think Ward will go #1 to Tennessee.

If you are interested Combine height/weight, etc. measurements for the DL & LB's are in. Can see them at this link:
