I'm skeptical on how good he's going to be, especially if he keeps playing both sides of the ball. There's a reason nobody does that at the NFL level. I guess we'll see.Hunter??
I think that's a good pick. He was probably the best player available. Could have traded back, I suppose.NYG doing NYG things... ugh.
he was the highest graded player in the entire draft. they have to be thrilled to get him at #3I think that's a good pick. He was probably the best player available. Could have traded back, I suppose.
Confidence is a must in quarterbacks. Cockiness usually doesn't work out. I struggle to think of a really cocky QB that has been really successful in the NFL. I think at some point his teammates would get sick of it. Maybe Mahomes a little bit, or Aaron Rodgers, but they were toned down a lot from Shedeur Sanders.I'm guessing every answer was "I'm the best there ever was, just ask my daddy".
There is a difference between confidence and narcissistic and while I don't know him on a personal level at all, what I have seen of him in interviews makes me lean towards the latter. Just like his dad.
Kids good. What are you talking about?NYG doing NYG things... ugh.
Giants DL and edge is probably the top strength of the roster. Dexter Lawrence. Kayvon Thibodeaux. Brian Burns. Meanwhile we suck at RB, we suck at QB, our OL and D backfield always needs improvement, The last thing we need is another DL. So what do we draft... another DL.I think that's a good pick. He was probably the best player available. Could have traded back, I suppose.
Last position of need for NYG is DL. Yes the kid is a beast but we have serious weaknesses at several other spots.Kids good. What are you talking about?
Taking any running back in the first round that’s not a unicorn(Adrian Peterson, Saquan Barkley, etc) is a bad pick. This kid didn’t look good when they played a real team.Jeanty, I'm not sure about. 5'8 Mountain West running back without breakaway speed. Taking him that high seems risky.
Especially for a team that has about a million other needs.Jeanty, I'm not sure about. 5'8 Mountain West running back without breakaway speed. Taking him that high seems risky.
Look at the Giants defensive roster and then convince me that taking the DL was the best move.he was the highest graded player in the entire draft. they have to be thrilled to get him at #3
A lot of the major news services (ESPN, CBS, the Athletic, to name a few) listed D-line as a position of need for them. What are they missing?Giants DL and edge is probably the top strength of the roster. Dexter Lawrence. Kayvon Thibodeaux. Brian Burns. Meanwhile we suck at RB, we suck at QB, our OL and D backfield always needs improvement, The last thing we need is another DL. So what do we draft... another DL.
Yeah, that's reminiscent of the Giants taking Saquon when they were far from ready to compete. But Saquon was better.Especially for a team that has about a million other needs.
RB's are great for championship teams looking to put the final part on a superbowl caliber team. but for a team that needs so damn much? hes gonna be worn down if the Raiders ever manage to build enough of a roster to actually compete.
Those are the times that you see a great player but may be best for you to trade down a couple spots if you can get a good haul of draft picks.Yeah, that's reminiscent of the Giants taking Saquon when they were far from ready to compete. But Saquon was better.
