A lot of the major news services (ESPN, CBS, the Athletic, to name a few) listed D-line as a position of need for them. What are they missing?
They're just wrong? How could anyone honestly think the DL is a need over RB or QB? Nonsense. Giants were top-10 in the league in sacks. DL is not the area of need. Dexter Lawrence and KT are studs, also Brian Burns.

Yeah, that's reminiscent of the Giants taking Saquon when they were far from ready to compete. But Saquon was better.
And to be fair. Saquon has a ring now. (just not for the Giants, which just reinforces that its better to not draft a RB early)

I agree that drafting a RB at the top is risky but Saquon IMO deserved it. He just went into a horrible situation in NY. Hate Philly but am glad that went somewhere where he could have at least a few seasons in a good system and win. Deserves it.

49ers about to take an offensive lineman. Which one, I'm not sure.

Additionally, NFL.com, PFF, Sharp Football analysis, Pro Football Network Bleacher Report also listed D-line as a need for NY. I guess they all must be stupid.

I think we have to separate where a player deserves to be picked from if its a good decision for the franchise.

Like look. Jeanty I think deserves to be a top 10 pick. But is it a smart decision for a team picking in the top 10 to take a RB? two totally different questions.

Rural U.S.A.
I like Loveland better fit for the Bears. Better compliment to Kmet. Better route runner more dynamic than Warren I think.
Really? Cuz Warren is a freaking stud, and I hardly heard anything about this guy. Surely there were some DL, DE or LB's that were there? I have no idea.

I get that and agree, I just think Saquon was in a different stratosphere as a RB than most other RBs who've been drafted in the past few decades, at least. He was the right pick for the Giants. They just failed miserably at building around him.
