And now Minnesota is trying the same thing and it worked. Got Jokic a T for next to nothing.
I think refs got that 1 right though hard to not give Jokic 1 even though I agree Minnesota baited him a bit. Reid could of been ejected that's tough call. Incredible game and crowd

Guy took how many cheap shots and then gets the same punishment for going chest to chest with one of them. It's a terrible call IMO, but pretty consistent with how they usually call it.

Ideally refs would of called initial shove on clark but they can't allow jokic to just take it into his own hands or you'll get bigger brawls. It was a tough situation but Denver ended with a free throw which to me felt like right result

Non-playoff story but former Cyclone Mike Born was promoted within the Pacers to a very high level position in the front office. He has been a scout with them for years, but this would put him like 3rd in command in the front office. That puts two Iowans in the top 3 of the front office obviously with Chad Buchanan as the GM. Pretty neat and obviously with Tyrese this makes them very easy to root for.

Playoffs will be much more interesting next season when they are back. Hopefully they don't get screwed over in the lottery, and can add a nice young piece to go alongside Tyrese.

Is this the same dude that ran the Born basketball camp decades ago? I think he played for the Iowa Energy at the time?

Christian Braun is not a $25 million a year player. That overpay is going to kill them
Seriously, what were they thinking with that? Paying a guy at the most plentiful position in the league that kind of money to be a below average role player is killing that team.

The people who think the NBA is all offense and zero defense didnt warch Goebert's defense massively play a role in winning that series against one of the greatest players ever.

He was really good as a rookie, and stepped up nicely after we lost KCP. I think the plan was expecting him to continue to improve.

But he got hurt early in the year, and then when he came back he’s been a disaster. Since Denver is not a free agent destination, I don’t mind overpaying the guys we got while developing. But it’s bitten us twice now with MPJ (even though he was good for the Nets this year) and now Braun, if their development stalls

Congrats to all Minnesota fans. This was the most disgusting Nuggets team I’ve seen since we won the title. Didn’t even try to play D all year, and showed 0 heart all season.

We’ll see you on the ice rink! Hopefully the Colorado team has more luck in that series, but it’s going to a brawl

I suppose, but the NBA is loaded with wings that could play off of Jokic and score at a high level. He was pretty good last year, but guys like him are plentiful in the league.

Can’t believe the wolves won that. Down Ant, DDV, Ayo. Jaden McDaniels talked that **** and backed it up

Chris Finch is ridiculously underrated as a coach.

Also, with Ant out, gives other guys a chance to be more alpha...however long term, Ant has to be in the equation to make another run at the finals.

Sorry to Nuggets fans on here but I enjoy seeing them knocked out. Jokic amazing but IMO gets a free pass from the media pretty often for both his defense and the dirty plays/scuffles he consistently finds himself in.

Luka for example gets murdered constantly online and by the media for his defense while Jokic gets abused and you hardly hear a peep.

Add in Jamal Murray and it’s an easy team for me to root against.
