Well, it make me rethink and edit my post with who I think might be ranked and whether Iowa will or will not be!
I don't care where we are ranked or considered preseason, what I would like for the girls is a conference title, conference tournament championship, and a sweet 16 run or better in the tourney.
If that doesn't happen within the next 2 yrs it will be disappointing career for that freshman class that came in and had such a fun freshman yr. Just my opinion.
ISU bball was having a meeting in the suite on top floor of Stark today. Billy saw me on way out and we talked for few seconds. Told him about me working here now.

I saw Hare in a new video they put out. Looks like she is moving pretty good and back up to at least practicing speed.

This is so fun to share. Audi Crooks had a basketball camp scheduled. Since she is on Team USA she can’t do the camp.

Stinks for Freya to miss summer workouts/fun with the team, but glad she made it to campus!
As I understand, she was playing with a Danish national team and wanted to fulfill that obligation.
I hope she pans out like some of our other internationals have…like Adriana Camber. I’d love one just like her!
The first game of the season vs St. Thomas is interesting to me. Want to see if St. Thomas has improved, they went Div I from Div III a couple of years back. The game in 2023 was a 40 point rout. Still a fun game for fans because of the small gym and being able to hear the players talk to one another on the court, especially Crooks calling for the ball. Guessing this third game with them is part of a 2 for 1 for us traveling to St. Paul. Big Ten Badgers also did a 2 for 1 with them. BTW, it's a really good school and might be a good landing spot for Summit League level players from Minnesota vs the SD and ND schools (IMHO).
Tommies have been getting incrementally better each year in the Summit.
Remembering that I looked her up and missed this news from last spring:

- 2023-24 = 15-16 and 7-9 in league and 41 point loss to Cyclones.
- 2024-25 = 17-13 and 9-7 in league and 33 point loss to Cyclones.
