***2025-26 CFB Coaching Carousel***

Dude, you may like the PNW, but this move might be a career killer.
I guess the question is, can Oregon State be one of the top teams in the NEW Pac 10? I would think any coach would feel Oregon State has the resources to compete against Mtn West schools.

Then in 3-4 years he jumps to a better P4 job.

Feel bad for the coaches losing all this money and leverage because there’s no money to pay them as the players get paid.

Kiffin at Alabama would be a monster, just saying. DeBoer is really good but I could see him hating the South/SEC. Seems a wild rumor though

But do we know those coaches were in play for the really big jobs this cycle?

Or did their agents leverage leaks to get their clients more money. In other words, more of the same stuff. Aka most AD's are insecure about their ability to keep their HC.

IMO Penn State's had their guy for weeks. And Kiffin is being Kiffin, but he's always been going to Florida and Sumrall will end up at LSU.

I mean if LSU and Florida didn’t even talk to them they’re pretty stupid and delusional

CBS just said Bamas coach could be interested in Penn St job
If Alabama doesn't win @ Auburn tonight, he'll have plenty of folks help him pack his bags.
It would not be the first time, as he seems like a fish out of water to me.

Curry left Alabama for Kentucky after the 1989 SEC Championship (10-2) season.
Franchione left Alabama for Texas A&M after the 2002 (10-3) season.

If he loses today, and that PSU offer is there, he should take it. He’d be on the hot seat big time next year with another 3-loss regular season for the Tide.
