***2025-26 CFB Coaching Carousel***

I don’t really have trust in any of the Arkansas reporters after earlier this year they talked about how Dan Mullen reached out because he would take the Arkansas job immediately if offered to him. Only for Dan Mullen to tweet out he was not interested.

I think Gus could get them to 8 wins a year if that's the goal but I doubt it is.

The source is actually Pete Nakos with On3 sports.

Hasn’t Nakos been throwing names at the wall for multiple jobs this cycle? Thamel didn’t even mention Campbell this weekend when asked about Arkansas’ shortlist. I trust him, he’s been the one who’s broken Iowa State’s injury news the last two seasons

Gus is and has always been a solid recruiter. Auburn shouldn't have let him go when they did. When he went to UCF he was great getting talent to UCF but the problem was he could never do it on the field there in Orlando once they joined the Big 12. I think he still has some head coaching left in the tank just not sure if Arkansas would want him though. May be better off just keeping Petrino over Gus.

honest question, if Campbell were going to Arkansas why would multiple guys be committing? Don’t they have till next year?

Looks like Kyle Whittingham has to let Utah know by Dec. 8th if he is going to retire or not. Have a feeling he will. He pretty much said the plan was for him to do it after last season but with them having a horrible season he didn't want to go out like that. Their DC is the "Coach in Waiting".

Chip Kelly is available once again, but not sure if his results over the last several years will draw much interest in the college football world.

Might be Ohio State's oc next year. Maybe he'll be the oc at Oregon.

Someone will pay him a lot of money to call their plays.
