I've been hearing rumors of some of these BIG and SEC concerned about their financials, can't afford buyouts. Complete financial mis-management by these programs. The BIG/SEC likes to brag about how much money they get from the conference, but still can't pay their bills and are looking for any possible way to squeeze more money from the CFP.

I hope they all go bankrupt.

I get that. And I also get not wanting to lose the fanbase and lose the players, but with the transfer portal the way it is now, you risk having half your team in the portal with half the season remaining.

Sure. I guess for LSU, purchasing an all new roster isn’t the same task as doing it at ISU.

I also would be interested in head coaching positions, including the Titans. I feel I have about an equal chance of being successful as Sark. I would even take 80% of his salary to do so.

Texas is just a weird place to coach cuz many guys get their money before it's earned.

In my mind has always been club med of college football. The last 10 years in Big 12 they were just a soft team imho

Its a top 5 job. Its a better job than even Alabama imo. I didn't say they had the tradition or the hardware but its right there with Georgia and Florida.

I would say the coaches of BIG and SEC have really fleeced Fox and ESPN and the ADs are complicit.

They're paying fractions of those. Someone will take a flyer on the coaches. The buyout numbers don't mean anything when there's offset language that requires they attempt to get new jobs and the new job has to pay market rate that offsets the previous school's obligation to pay.
