***2025-26 CFB Coaching Carousel***

I've been hearing rumors of some of these BIG and SEC concerned about their financials, can't afford buyouts. Complete financial mis-management by these programs. The BIG/SEC likes to brag about how much money they get from the conference, but still can't pay their bills and are looking for any possible way to squeeze more money from the CFP.
I hope they all go bankrupt.

Does he get to keep the drawl?

A few donors have control of the AD at some programs. They love the power.
I get that. And I also get not wanting to lose the fanbase and lose the players, but with the transfer portal the way it is now, you risk having half your team in the portal with half the season remaining.

Those same donors will buy new talent. College football has gone from team and university pride ... to a transaction.

I guess the one thing Kelly has going for him is that the bags under his eyes will be able to hold a lot of his sh!t.

At least that brings an end to the worst HC fit at a major program in all of college football. Was a stupid hire the day the made it.

Texas is just a weird place to coach cuz many guys get their money before it's earned.

In my mind has always been club med of college football. The last 10 years in Big 12 they were just a soft team imho
They are pretty soft this year.

I would say the coaches of BIG and SEC have really fleeced Fox and ESPN and the ADs are complicit.

Ranking Sec jobs imo if you combine NIL, tradition, and ability to recruit within 200-250 miles from campus.
1.Florida
2.Texas
3.Georgia
4. LSU
5. A&M
6. Alabama
7. Tennessee
8. Auburn
9. Oklahoma
10. Arkansas
11. Ole Miss
12. South Carolina
13. Mizzou
14. Kentucky
15. Vandy
16. Miss. St.

LSU paying $50 million buyout. PSU paying $49 million buyout. Iowa getting a $50 million welfare check from the state. Yep, it sure means more.
They're paying fractions of those. Someone will take a flyer on the coaches. The buyout numbers don't mean anything when there's offset language that requires they attempt to get new jobs and the new job has to pay market rate that offsets the previous school's obligation to pay.
