The second tainted the first, all those wins meant nothing because one could not tell the other to stop it and tell the police.
Fickell is toast, its just a matter of when they announce it.
I can’t believe they extended him this offseason. What a dumb move, it didn’t look good even last year.
It's a recruiting move. If they don't it's even easier to recruit against Wisky to say they don't plan on him being there (not that it mattered).
Can’t Wisconsin just pay them with their big 10 money instead of wasting it on a lame duck coach?
At this point I think they let him finish the season. Maybe they announce that he won’t be retained next year to save recruiting and not open the transfer portal window?
Billy could only delay the inevitable for so long. And they might want to make it official before FSU cans Norvell.
If ISU keeps Campbell after this carousel season, he probably never leaves on his own
Appears its going to be a crazy next month on the hiring/firing front.
So much focus is on the revenue side of college sports, but IMO the NCAA or Conferences need to get a handle on costs. It might be a good time with the House Payments and NIL structure evolving.
Might be a good idea to have cost caps by sport with COLA for location. And exclude scholarship cost. As much as colleges are complaining about not having enough money, they seem to have enough money to keep escalating coaching salaries and find the dollars to pay $50M+ buyouts.
Novel idea, maybe Presidents should look at Athletic Departments as the front door of their University AND a cash cow to fund General University expenses!!!

From what I’ve heard, he was not very well-liked by former Iowa State players.
