Actually think that’s a solid hire for MSU

Could be, who knows. But someone who hasn’t navigated the current NIL and transfer portal situation, someone who hasn’t recruited in 3 years, hasn’t coached in 3 years…I wouldn’t love spending $33m in buyout money just to get that guy.

I highly doubt he's just been sitting on the couch eating potato chips and watching reruns of Seinfeld all day, he knows what he needs to do.

Lane Kiffin is a good coach... but a POS.

He said a day ago he hadn't made a decision, and needed to pray on it.... so funny. I guess god told him last night to take the money and screw over his current players huh?
Honestly, that’s got to be the most wholesome thing anybody has claimed god told them to do in quite some time.

Northwestern isn’t an easy place to win at. Small selective private school in a pro sports crazed big city, with a high percentage of students who don’t go there for the sports. Second fiddle to Illinois in state and neighbor to Wisconsin.
The fact he had them consistently making bowl games with a couple CCG appearances to boot is a good coaching job. He’s absolutely an upgrade over Smith.

FIFY.
