They're kind of a fringe 'in the field' or 'bubble' team in the 9-11 seed range predictions I've seen. Finishing in the 8-10 range of the SEC. Will be a good test for us. I would take a one point win, but would love a 10+ point win.Especially when we win 80-62

That site is awesome!! Fun to look at and follow along with. Thankshttps://www.teamrankings.com/ncb/
We've had some criticisms on here regarding their treatment of weird edge cases (e.g., giving Iowa St. a win expectation of 95% against somebody like FDU when it should be 99.9%) in the past.
Seems to be more realistic and better now, though.

Miss St played North Alabama in their only game so far, and it was a 1 pt game at half before they ended up winning by 24.They have an amazing guard Josh Hubbard.

After that……?????
Nice research and write up. Thanks!Miss St played North Alabama in their only game so far, and it was a 1 pt game at half before they ended up winning by 24.
Hubbard is a small guard (5'10", 180#) - will be a fascinating matchup with Lipsey/Toure. He's a Jr who averaged 19ppg last year, shooting 9+ 3s a game and hitting 35%. Definitely a volume shooter. Good FT shooter and got to the line 12 times in their first game - along with 3 threes, leading the team with 27 pts and 8 assists.
the SG is Jayden Epps (6'2"), a 4 year senior who played 1 year at Illinois and then started the last two years at Georgetown, averaging 18+ his soph year and 13 last year. Another volume shooter at 31% from 3 and under 40% from the field for his career. Only played 16 minutes and scored 5 points in their first game.
the other guard is Shawn Jones Jr (6'5") - a 4th yr Sr at Miss St, came off the bench until this year. A career 28% 3pt shooter
their center is 6th year transfer Quincy Ballard (6'11") - he was at FSU for 2 years and didn't play, before spending the last 3 at Wichita St, starting every game the last two years and leading the American Conf in FG% and Blocks both years.
the PF is a somewhat familiar face, Achor Achor (6'9"), who played 7 games for KSU last year. He's another 6th yr Sr, playing 2 years at a JUCO, 2 years at Samford and 1 (partial) year at KSU.
In the first game 5 players off the bench got 10+ minutes:
Ja'Borri McGhee (6'0") - played 2 years at JUCO and 1 at UAB. Shot 40+% from 3 at UAB last year on low volume
Jamarrion Davis-Fleming (6'10") - true freshman from Mississippi
Sergej Macura (6'9") - first year player from Serbia. Had 7 pts and 12 rbs in the first game
King Grace (6'5") - Top 100 (#65) freshman from Texas
Dellquan Warren (6'2") - Soph who didn't play much at as a frosh at Miss St.
Overall not much other than Hubbard returning from last year - a ton of experience in the starting 5 and a bunch of really young players off the bench.

Oklahoma State getting positive projections is a change. Cyclones have lost some headscratchers to them and now they might be better. Can't pencil in a sweep.

Lipsey, Buchanan, and Jefferson balled out.
Lipsey mostly from A/T ratio and dropping 25 on a pretty good TS% (63%).
Buchanan from a super high TS%, assists, not turning it over for a big man, and rebounds.
Jefferson from a high TS%, 6/7 from two, 6/7 from the line, and four assists.
