I know he didn't play as much as we all would have wanted him to, or as much as he would have liked, but I love that Tyrese is a part of this team. And it looked like he has an absolute blast with the whole experience as well. I know there was a story about him going to one of the table tennis matches to cheer on the US. Can't ask for a better representative of our country.

Not all All Stars but Canada got no medal with 10/10 NBA players in their rotation and possibly #2 player in the world.

Because it's the f*cking Olympics and it only happens once every 4 years?

Not to mention that the rest of the world has caught up to us. These gold medals don't come as easily as they did back in the '90's.

Yeah we have the best talent, it’s still really hard to win a gold medal with the level of basketball competition around the world.

How many championships do Texas or Kentucky have the last 10 years despite collecting the best football and basketball talent each year?

There are a massive amount of rule changes.
The US team really didn't get much practice.
Oh, and they're playing France in freaking France.

These other countries can catch some generational stars too, Serbia might have been a handful with just one more stud player. That Argentina team that beat us, they had they only shooting guard of the time that could battle with Kobe straight up.
