Well, this is disturbing. Big 12 newcomer Utah switched hotels after a couple of incidents of racial slurs being hurled at the team and traveling party. They were staying just across the border in Idaho, set to play in Spokane where Gonzaga was hosting. NCAA and Gonzaga helped them to change hotels. Damn.

Dang…at least as a women’s basketball fan I felt the team left it all out there against Stanford. The men on the other hand…whew…that was as bad as they’ve played in a while. That one will leave a sour taste for a while.

Testifying
Entertaining interview with the Indiana coach after that first qtr.
I like her being a straight shooter.

South Carolina is the best team in the country. They're not untouchable, though, and I'm not sure if they will win it all.

Notre Dame women's basketball guard Hannah Hidalgo had to come out of her team's Sweet 16 game against Oregon State on Friday afternoon to have her nose stud removed. Hidalgo sat on the far end of the bench while multiple members of the training staff worked with various pliers-like instruments to remove her nose stud. The freshman played with the stud piercing throughout her standout freshman season.

Why didn't they just put some athletic tape on the nose ring like the "old days"?

What a weird thing to call after 30 plus games. For a little stud through the side of her nose.

Like they just noticed for the first time "live" during a Sweet Sixteen game?

4 fouls on Brink, 3 on Iriafen with about a minute left in the 3rd. NC State has figured out how to win!
