Can't say I'll be surprised at all if #2 and #3 in west both lose. 2-7 was a total coin flip and if anything some of the lower teams seemed more dangerous. Other than Houston and OKC every single playoff team could have been in the play in game 3-4 games left in the season.

Lebron is still obviously a great player, but you can really tell he has showed his age the last few years. He just can’t take over a game like he used to in the 4th:

When the teams were that even, it's about matchups, Minnesota was the worst possible draw for the Lakers. Wolves are just too big and athletic. If LA was playing Golden State, they might be moving on.

He has reverted back to his natural position of SF, he can't run the PG roll anymore but it's his defense that has really fallen off. Minnesota had a mismatch everywhere they wanted between him and Luka. I think he is spending so much energy on offense, that he just isn't the same on defense.

I find myself wondering if Golden State and Minnesota were flipped in the seeding and GS was playing the Lakers and Minnesota the Rockets if the Lakers and Rockets would be moving on...I kinda think they would be.
