Cougs came to play! If TCU loses this game, it's gonna kill their season. A Houston win here also helps our strength of schedule.

I think about this every time someone says the NFL isn’t a threat to college football. Well they killed Thursday night college football games. Now the networks have to put games on Friday.

NFL could (and I think will eventually) squash (or put a huge dent) in CFB

I used to love the thursday night games. It was typically MWC and MWC actually had ranked teams, or it was a major conf game.

yeah I guess we're in the era now where we need to cheer for the 9 teams we draw among 15, not unlike how a good Iowa season raised our profile win or lose.

It's really kind of like almost an entire conference or division we "dodge". 6 teams off schedule every year.

I said after our game that Fritz will have UH playing well and they'll get a good win before too long.

Not that TCU is a marquee win, but they're playing good ball so far.

Win or lose….Sonny Dykes’s days are numbered IMO. I think he is a shyte coach that inherited and road Max Duggan and a Senior laden teams coat tails year one.

His teams are so undisciplined and inconsistent. Seems like their culture sucks and there is just something off about the guy.

It was a matter of time before they put a game together

Long term TCU, Baylor, Houston and Tech will always have a chance to jump up and be dangerous with the right coach. Just too much talent even after Texas/A&M/SEC. Maybe SMU too when/if things ever settle into stability.

I think it's a big reason the Big 12 had an edge over Pac and ACC as the Big Ten/SEC went about trying to crush all conferences.

Houston with a 3 score lead. With their defense, TCU is gonna have a tough time coming back to win this one.

I’m starting to feel better about tomorrow.

UH is passing a lot better tonight. Probably a bigger reflection on TCU, but our secondary was teeing off last week. When your defensive backfield is that elite you're always going to be in a position to go take the win.
