I hate to say it but a 10-2 Iowa team is probably getting in over a 11-1 Big 12 team (not ISU).

There are going to be a TON of politics when picking the at large playoff teams. The Big Ten and SEC are going to load up the playoffs due to their power and leverage. Remember, they again chose to use a committee who can manipulate metrics to get certain teams in instead of using an unbiased BCS like computer.

Although, the way the media is trying to stack the deck, it could be 1 Big 10, Big 12, ACC, and G5 team each and 8 SEC teams. I mean... the SEC has 6 of the top 7 teams in the AP poll. Don't tell me that fix ain't already in the works.

The Big 10 is going to get their teams on name brand factor alone. If Iowa's 10-2 with their only losses being against potential conference champions and playoff contenders in Iowa State and Ohio State, it's not going to matter who they beat if they're behind only OSU in the standings.
EIU is going to struggle to get to 10-2, they are one Johnson injury from being a .500 team, he is their difference maker. Throw in that if tied with Michigan or Penn State for one of those final spots and EIU will lose out because of their lack of a national name and their weak schedule in conference.
For EIU to make the playoff they have to miss the conference championship game and be the 3rd or 4th team in the conference or beat Ohio State either in a couple of weeks or in the championship game. Only losing to Ohio State the rest of the way its going to be a toss up if they would get in.

I think they finish with 8-9 wins

CU should be pissed. Refs should have paused the game to review the line of gain to see if it was a first down or not

That’s a terrible spot Colorado got. That was a first down by 2 yards and they marked him a yard short
