It’s like the Deshaun Watson contract at this point. Just because the TV networks have overpaid for the product on the field doesn’t mean they should continue to be treated like they belong.
The problem is, to the TV networks the B1G is worth it. The large, loyal fanbases of the B1G schools are still giving these games lots of eyeballs which lets the networks sell lots of ads. The networks don't care that the product sucks from a football perspective.

Minny just threw in the towel... it's over.

They passed on 1st and 2nd down... and then ran it for a loss on 3rd and 10... and not only that... they were also running the play clock down to 1 second on each play. They are just trying to get this game over with and move on to next week. Such a joke.

Oh.. and the boos are raining down on Fleck and Minny too... deservedly so.

Im not sure how you fire a coach after any of these seasons unless you are Nebraska, maybe a few others. But having an 11 win season, two 9 win seasons, and 2 other bowl qualified out of 7 years.

That would be like saying I dont know how ISU still employs CMC.
get out of here with your facts and reason.

McNamara has 59 yds passing... on 3.3 yds per attempt. Iowa has no threat to throw the ball whatsoever... completely one dimensional... and Minny can't do anything.

Talk about a text book example of being outcoached at halftime…. Fleck’s team is taking a beating and he has nothing.
Minnesota in the first half: we’re playing solid football, looks like we might have the edge here

Minnesota in the third quarter, turned to Ralphie from A Christmas Story: Football? What’s a football? What exactly do we do in this game?

Johnson is good and Iowa's OL is being undersold on how well they're giving space to run.

I do hate that they legalized the push.

I think they did it just because it was too hard to call as a penalty (USC absolutely should have been penalized for pushing Reggie Bush in South Bend back in the day). It’s just not football when you run three big hosses into the back of the ball carrier and push him into the pile.

Iowa's 2nd half tonight looks a lot like their 1st half against ISU. Biggest difference is that ISU held them to 2 FGs when they got close to the goal line.
