I wonder what Breece and Troy Davis were?

Troy accounted for about 56% of our YFS in 1996.

I would have guessed higher than that before looking this up.

Cyclone offense was decent in those days, averaged 29 points per game. Couldn't stop anyone though (gave up 36).

Breece was about 32% in 2021. Davis was about 55% in 96.

Yeah, Kaleb Johnson % of yards seems ridiculously high but it's not something I regularly look up.

Last week it felt like a win if they put the ball in anybody else's hands.

It's really becoming a chicken/egg thing for Iowa. Even if they signed a 5* at this point I'd assume every other coach must know something that he's evaluated poorly. They are all bad, or they all get bad and why would a truly good prospect ever go there when there's $$$ at other schools too.

Iowa state completely broke the Iowa program. the rot has set in

That's how vast majority of their games vs group of 5 go. Lots of B10W too.

Typical... looks like Iowa will score by way of penalties on opponent... not by their offense.
