***2024 CFB Week 3 Games Thread***

Bama. SEC is actually a good league. Big 10 is mostly pretend.
I agree but want Bama to lose, both leagues are going to get overhyped no matter what but I'd rather play the paper tiger than the real deal. So more b1g teams means an easier road in the cfp for everyone else.

Also bama losing without saban breaks up their dominance and makes for better cfb. Wisconsin isn’t very good though so doubt it happens

The KSU offense is great until it hurts the QB, then it’s not. ISU has had running QB’s before and it seems that less than half make it through the season. I like to have that ability in the offense, but only use it in big games that you need the extra weapon. KSU was up 21 in the fourth quarter still running their QB. That’s the stuff I don’t understand. It just takes one bad read for your QB to get blown up and hurt. Which, for most teams will kill your season aspirations real quick.
Until the past year or two KSU QB's have been healthy, its only been the past couple of years that they have been getting hurt. A running QB just adds so much to the offense, not saying running him 25 times, but 5 to 10 makes a huge difference.

If florida state loses this game and its looking bad i am not sure if they make a bowl game

The fans are going to turn on them soon

Maybe all the people saying we should add Memphis to the Big12 are more right than the ones arguing for Florida State :jimlad:

I'm torn on Wiscy & Alabama. Ultimately I want Alabama to win today (I just threw up in my mouth) because, if Bucky has an upset win, this will just strengthen the perception - and continued over-hyping - of the B1G. I think Alabama, going forward, will naturally take a step or two backward - don't need for it to happen against a mediocre B1G team.
