they were here for the Iowa st vs iowa dual, with that huge recruiting class. I think there were 15ish top recruits in. Dee Lockett was here on that visit.
I haven’t heard anything. Would love to have him![]()

Glass half full kinda guyGo football somewhere or wrestle at Penn State.
I could be very wrong, but I’m not sure Ross screams “Penn State” if he sticks to wrestling.Go football somewhere or wrestle at Penn State.
Sounds like he will be at ISU this season as he was a full qualifier out of HS, most likely will be red-shirting this year.Looks like CJ Carter committed. Originally from Glenwood. Was a JUCO national champ at HWT this past season for IWCC. He had to beat the kids who place 2nd, 3rd & 4th to win that bracket. Good depth piece at HWT
Wrestled 195 in HS, definitely seems like 197 is a possibilityCould this kid possibly go 197 too? He looks lean, not sure how tall he is.

Twice during his time at Glenwood, Carter was a state runner-up. …
Now, Carter remains in his home state and will compete with the Cyclones, reigning champions of the Big 12. Iowa State was 13-2 in 2023-24, and finished fourth at the NCAA Championships in Kansas City in March.
Might be getting a little greedy, but adding Zinkin and Olivarez to go along with Castillo would make 2025 a phenomenal class. Add in Lockett (if he truly is considering flipping) and it becomes one of Iowa State’s best classes of all time

If anyone can pull it off, KD will.In this day and age of college wrestling you take being greedy when you can get it.
Flo lists Zinkin and Olivarez at 144Nothing greedy about it. What weights do those guys project at?
