I will eat crow if those two aren’t ready to rock and play well next week. Tamin will be fine, and Gilbert will be a fighter. It’s his last games as a college player. He ain’t sittin.

I think Lipsey and Gilbert will both play Thursday/Friday. But if ISU is up big in the second half, expect both to ride the bench for extended periods of time

Lipsey is the type of person who will do whatever it takes to get on the floor

I'd like to see them in a 'as needed' type of deal or only play in the 2nd half.

Last daily NET update: ISU finally had the perfect storm with teams on the edge.
10-7 in Q1,
6-2 in Q2
8-0 in Q3/Q4

-Baylor stayed at 30 despite VCU winning at 31.

-Kstate jumped from 76 to 75, giving a quad 1 win and taking away a quad 3 loss. St Joe’s fell from 74 to 76 after losing to George Mason.

The committee has likely already made their decision, but when you compare these metrics to other teams, ISU looks solidly like a 3 seed. And with the 8th most Q1 wins, they look more like a 2 seed than a 4 seed, for what it’s worth.

I was just reading on ESPN that the committee has officially started using Torvicks ratings as a metric this year. He has us as ranked 8th and Wisconsin 12th.

We are also 10th in NET and they are 15th. I don't see beating a 5 seed like Michigan moving them ahead of us at this point so I'm cautiously optimistic we'll still get a 3.

Wow, I hadn't heard they were using Torvick, but I'm glad they are. I think it's surpassed KenPom at this point.

I'm really thinking Wisconsin will jump to the final 3, and Texas A&M will fall to the first 4 seed.

I would be really surprised if we weren’t in 10 through 13 on the s-curve.

I’d rank the order of likelihood at:
12
11
13
10

Almost like these computer rankings know what they're doing...

Women's were darn near the top-four in the Final Four, too...

They were right for most everyone except for us.
