Anti-jinx solution: Book rooms for Denver!I've been very tempted to book rooms for Milwaukee but still feel like that would jinx it somehow.
I’m telling myself we are gonna end up the first 4 seed. Which is kind of a bummer but just bracing for it. I don’t know how many have Kentucky and or A&M as a three but what do I know.
But rooting hard against Wisconsin and Maryland today. And Arizona.
If the committee continues it's trend of discounting conference tournaments, we should be a 3 seed.Probably watching Wisconsin take the Milwaukee site away from us right now..
Wichita or Denver is my guess now
As someone who’s generally a pessimist, my gut says we’re holding a magnifying glass to the last three days because we know Iowa State’s résumé deficiencies and team flaws intimately, and that the committee isn’t going to weigh two teams (ISU and, for example, Wisconsin) granularly when they’re tasked with stamping a field of 68. I especially don’t think the committee will knock ISU down because of injuries. No one has structural damage or has been out for a month. If Wisconsin beats Michigan State that’s a different story. But as of now I don’t really see a world where thumping UCLA is considered a way better result than losing to BYU by four down two startersIf the committee continues it's trend of discounting conference tournaments, we should be a 3 seed.
However, I'm really concerned AZ and Wisconsin jump us, causing us to fall to the 4 seed line
Gonna be right
I’m in full agreement. Want the 3 seed, but I’ll be watching the show anticipating a 4 seedI’m telling myself we are gonna end up the first 4 seed. Which is kind of a bummer but just bracing for it. I don’t know how many have Kentucky and or A&M as a three but what do I know.

They won’t be close to 100%, IMHO.I’m in full agreement. Want the 3 seed, but I’ll be watching the show anticipating a 4 seed
Either way, got to get through the first weekend before any of that matters. Just hoping Gilbert and Lipsey will be near 100% by then
They won’t be close to 100%, IMHO.
With constant rehab, rest, basically no practice, and a sprinkle of luck, hope/pray for 80%.

Why? Tamin is a dog and him playing in the BYU made no sense. He will be ready. Keshon is a senior and will be a go. Book it.I'll be very surprised if either are able to go for more than 20 minutes.

They'll probably put at least 1 or 2 SEC teams in Dayton so hopefully that helps to thin them out a little.Matt Norlander (@norlander.bsky.social)
The thing I am more curious to see tomorrow night at 6—more than the 1-seeds, more than the bubble teams—is how the committee slots SEC teams. Longstanding bracketing principles must be relaxed in order to make room for at least 13 and as many as 14 teams into the field. Here's what to know...bsky.app
Groin injuries are the absolute worst. Why? Tamin is a dog and him playing in the BYU made no sense. He will be ready. Keshon is a senior and will be a go. Book it.
Groin or hamstring take foreverGroin injuries are the absolute worst.
Being "able to go" and being a productive person in the line-up are 2 different things. Why? Tamin is a dog and him playing in the BYU made no sense. He will be ready. Keshon is a senior and will be a go. Book it.
