Are you talking about the roughing the passer call? While I agree that wasn't a penalty, this was totally different. Howard was a runner when he got hitWas one last week to ISU.

It's called unnecessary roughness, if they call guys for landing on Brady and Carr with their " full body weight" then that's a penalty. Why would there be a penalty?
They paid Ewers a million to transfer? LOL.I wonder if the Texa$ oil barons are getting their money’s worth dealing with NIL for their $1M quarterback?

But he was running the ball when he got hit. Totally different situation. And this isn't me defending those other stupid penalties. It's called unnecessary roughness, if they call guys for landing on Brady and Carr with their " full body weight" then that's a penalty.
Yeah that was a really weak callQuarterback no longer playing football. Duggan got a stupid roughing called for him when the dude let up and happened to push the QB instead of tackling him when he barely got the ball off.
What the hell are the defensive players supposed to do? I would not necessarily be against going to flag football. It would be much safer and I think it could be just as exciting, but if they are going to play contact, play contact and quit with the touchy crap.
Fell on his shoulder / elbow while getting tackled. (Frankly surprised he didn't get a roughing the passer even though he was running. ha!)KSU is down to their 3rd string QB?
How did 2nd string guy get hurt?
It matters whether he's a runner or not? I'm not trying to be a smart-ass, I honesty don't know. It wasn't targeting but the defender drove him into the ground with the full force of his body weight. But he was running the ball when he got hit. Totally different situation. Yeah when we hit Ewers he was still in the pocket. It was still a bs call but once a QB starts running they are treated the same as anyone else running the footballIt matters whether he's a runner or not?
