What kind of player is Noah Carter for those who follow UNI closely? Looks like he put up 15 ppg last year. 6'6" forward.

With Jaz, Enaruna and Tre King Im not sure wed be in the market for a 6'6" forward.

I would not say no to a package deal of Carter and Green though thats for dang sure.

Thick undersized 4 who can stretch the floor but is a very streaky shooter from what I’ve watched

I think he means only AJ.
That's not how I interpreted it. His quote tweet is only about Carter and says "I'll take ISU along with AJ Green" making it sound like a package deal.

I also don't think that guy knows **** so not putting any stock into it

No thanks to Noah Carter
Nothing against him as a player, just not sure how well his game translates outside of the games he's on fire from 3. Hope ISU's sights are set a bit higher I suppose.

I see how you read that now. Carter would be a huge letdown as a transfer in that case.

Hunter had shot almost 50% (9-19) in the 7 games before going 7-14 in the tourney.

He should average 14-15 ppg next year and will be very deadly off the ball when Lipsey is in the game.
Hunter has a lot of improving to do. Especially to average 15 pts a game in our league. Decision making in lane and his shot need work.

I have kinda been sitting on this for a while but my wife is friends and in a business group with a member of the Jacobson family who thinks Green is going to ISU. This is just his opinion but being who he is he knows more than we do regarding the topic. He didnt form his opinion from nothing.
I was able to talk to some people recently, and this is what I have begun hearing also. There are still a couple that are sticking with the uni or play professionally angle

But now more of that group seems to think he’s going to Ames next season.

I was really surprised. But adding a player of his ability would be outstanding

I wonder if the quick turnaround changed his mind a bit? Maybe with Iowa State getting back to relevance he is now on board to take it to the next level but wasn't really interested in being part of a rebuild?

If Carter was a Cyclone today he would play ahead of Condit, Jones, and Enarunu He can rebound , post up and shoot threes, Sort of a poor man's Kenny Pratt in the post. But he is too short and slow to be a difference maker in the Big 12.

Carter would not be a bad addition to the team. He can play. He just would not be the star of the team. He causes some problems though. If he had those numbers with any other college and hit the transfer portal. We would all want him. Problem is he plays for UNI. I mean he averages 15 points and 4 rebounds for a good UNI squad. That is better than a lot of guys we are going after and at a higher level of competition.

I mean - his choice is
A) try to win the Valley again and maybe get a 14 seed in the tourney
B) Go make money overseas
C) Play for his dad one more season and have a chance at a Big XII title / Final Four run
