We played a lot of 4 guard offense with Hunter and Grill with Kunc at the 5. I imagine we’d do it even more with Williams and Council at 6’5” and 6’6”.

Yep

Williams - 6'5" (good-great, I've heard his wingspan is over 6'8")
AJG - 6'4" (good athlete, unknown wingspan)
Council - 6'6" (crazy athletic, 6'9" wingspan)
Jaz/King (King has a 7' wingspan)
Ward - 6'8" (crazy bouncy, 7'4" wingspan)

3+ athletes and likely only 1 player with a wingspan under 6'8". That is Tech level defensive ability

stud positional rebounders are difference makers.

You say Hunter wasn’t going to be asked, but he was already similar to Holmes and AJG. Gabe was the bottom of the group, but closer to the others than IB was. There’s a non-zero chance Gabe and Hunter get more rebounds last year if not with IB (and not in B12)

It seems optimistic to think the backcourt is as good in rebounding or defense. Or at all, but not playing Gabe helps on that end
Defensively, I agree. Last year's backcourt was better than whatever is put together this year.

As a team, I think they can replace last year's rebounding production. My concern is if they can have a significant improvement on that production, because in order to take the next step in the conference, they will need to.
They were 305 in the country in rbs/gm. And 205 in rbs%.

Same. Even though running Ward/Jones as our bigs is a terrifiyng idea, adding someone like Allick would just give us 1 project in Ward and 2 bad bigs. Better usage to get a good guard instead and roll from there
I’m not terrified by Kunc, Ward, and Jones for 10 games. Then King joining them. Also Watson is 6’8” and if he can shoot he could fill some stretch 4 or small ball minutes to avoid Ward-Jones lineup. If makes us play more small ball, it would be a good thing.

If we can add a player that’s a clear starter over those 4, certainly a good deal, but otherwise I’d go with another guard.

Imo we have a good base and some depth. We have the role players at all positions. Just looking for top talent now. For sure starters, or younger guys with upside.

Osun is likely a starter over Ward, he’d make us better. Certainly deeper. I don’t think we’d see much Ward-Osun though.

If we get AJG we really don't need another scorer for next season.

Here's my logic to this.

If our 1-3 can get us 40+ points per night, which shouldn't be hard to do with who we have currently, and the addition of Green. That means that we just need another 20-40 a night from our 4-5 and our bench players.

AS LONG AS our Defense stays elite, which I see no reason why it wouldn't.
With green 1-3 could get 40 a night. I will have to see it to believe 4 and 5 spot can get 20 with current guys.

With Bates and Basile now off the market.

We are still in play with Counsil IV, but not sure what we have there. Solely based off the other schools on that list.

Our next hope to land a Big would be Osun.

Otherwise I think you sit on that open schollie.
