2022 Recruiting/Transfer Class

What about the Mors kid from Wisc, out of S.Dakota? Is he big12 material?

It's a message board, are you aware?
It is completely to appropriate to talk about ceilings. And you don't need to win the Big 12 to be a FF level team, and certainly to have it be a ceiling. LOL, "those same people". It wasn't a good game or two- it was a season with a top-5 defense. You're close when you have that.

How many guys do you think needed to be added and which ones for the ceiling to Y
You are a particular fellow. Good at debate in HS? Atleast that is my take. Like to correct others. Shall I continue?

I never knew these things until you pointed them out. Can I have another dumb? I know you have it in you.

Id think hed be down the take list

The fact that his dad played at ISU and he is from Minnesota might help.

But would think it all comes down to the number of scholarships available this spring. Right now seems like we have 3 open scholarship and I would think the priorities are:
  1. Scoring Wing aka Brockinton's replacement
  2. Solid Rim Protector in Post aka Conditt's replacement
  3. 3 Point Shooter aka need another Grill. Can never have enough guys who shoot 36%+ from 3pt land.
  4. Best Available - Carlson could fill this roll. He would provide competition for Enaruna or Kunc.

Who are the top transfers we actually have a shot with? Sorry for not wanting to read the other 20 pages of the thread.

I don’t know, but we probably have about two months before the class is finished. Who knows who decides to come back, or last minute decommitments

Every year the portal gets crazier.

No stats in college so IDK what's up there but just based on that I would not put him high on the want list right now
He sat out this season with a Redshirt. Leaving because he wants to be closer to home. He wasn't pushed out.

The Wisconsin kids are being pushed out in my opinion. I don’t think Gard thinks they can play at the level needed
I don't know....depending on who we get for other transfers, one might be worth taking a chance on. Both seem like they have good potential, especially since Carlson battled several injuries early on. Rankings aren't always true to form, but can't believe he was ranked a 4-star for no reason and just ends up a flop. Mors, it says, wants to be closer to home, which Ames is at least. Redshirted but I bet had sound coaching in the sit out year. Sure both would be down the list, I'm just sayin' we'll have to see how our top of the list goes but keep them on the back burner. (note: not suggesting we take an injury-prone risk tho)
Also, the article I read said the Mors transfer came as a big surprise.

There is a reason he is leaving Wisconsin. He is not good enough to play there, which means he is not good enough to play here.
I doubt Wisconsin will recruit Jaden Walker.

AND, I read an old Wisc article after Mors committed. The kid got moved up to varsity bb when he was in jr. high, for heaven's sake! (Had no clue that was possible in any state.) Think it even said four year all-state player. Guess I'm blind guessing, but seems like worth a look to me.

Just a reminder that transfer season is the perfect time to try out the premium boards. Helps you cut through the speculation and get a better idea what the staff is actually up to.

Isn't a message board built for speculation? Im sure it's fun to be spoon fed everything. But I enjoy the wreckless speculation and unknowns of transfer season.

Yes and we can do it for free as well. Not to mention that info comes so fast and people commit so fast I don't really need to know today what might happen later today or tomorrow

Do they tell us when AJ gets here? If so I am sold

I respect the suggestion. I really should join the premium board as I love to follow recruiting. But while I decide...just a quick question. Is there ever a hint of a stealth recruit or transfer that doesn't get publicly put out or leaked on twitter regardless?
