Cam Smith might have a legitimate chance to win the Masters this year- every part of his game is working.

Not really PGA related per se but check out the Arizona State University Golf Complex. Pretty sick.

Accidentally posted this in the 2021 thread, but how about this kid?

19 years old with his first Korn Ferry win. Has his girlfriend he met on Instagram on the bag for him. Big times the tournament he won by having to check the trophy to remember the name. Awesome stuff.
His swing is pure as ****, that's what I know.

Anyone else catch the LPGA Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament this weekend? Derek Lowe the retired baseball player beat 5 of the LPGA pros from the same tees - obviously stirred up the social media discussions a bit.

Stirred up how? He's apparently a scratch golfer and he shot a +7 on a course that was playing 6,600 yards. A respectable score, but not even close to any of the LPGA women that were in the top half of the leaderboard. I would say it shows just how good any professional golfer is to amateurs, regardless of gender.

You mean the 6'6", 250 pound man was able to outdrive the smaller, lighter women? Surprising...

+7 must be the stroke score? Thought I read the celeb tourney there is Stableford.

That's about what I'd expect from a scratch golfer/pro athlete to score competitively. 6,600 yards is on the longer end of LPGA yardage, PGA would be up in the 7's. Assuming the men are longer at practically every club, I would say this tournament really points out the importance of finesse game above all else.
