That tournament that just concluded was a worst case thing for the TV guys, the contenders weren’t up and coming young guys they were run of the mill .

Thank god Spieth was even par when he shot 5 under or you’d have heard four hours of that ****. (That would have been 100 worse if it was on CBS, btw)

And it shouldnt be. Golf is waining for average joes. People still hang on to Dale Earnhardt, that sport is on life support.
Sure seems like every course around here is packed with average joes every weekend.

I was in the golf industry for 20 years. Its declining, its a money thing. High end courses are fine, the average track has seen a big loss in numbers.

I guess I was thinking in terms of PGA tour events and PGA Tour viewership.
