That tournament that just concluded was a worst case thing for the TV guys, the contenders weren’t up and coming young guys they were run of the mill .
Thank god Spieth was even par when he shot 5 under or you’d have heard four hours of that ****. (That would have been 100 worse if it was on CBS, btw)

And it shouldnt be. Golf is waining for average joes. People still hang on to Dale Earnhardt, that sport is on life support.
Sure seems like every course around here is packed with average joes every weekend.
I was in the golf industry for 20 years. Its declining, its a money thing. High end courses are fine, the average track has seen a big loss in numbers.
Huh? Have you been watching the last two years? Courses are booked EVERYWHERE.
I wish he was right, always too many damn people out at the course.
Someone needs to step up and take it. The young golfers that have won majors recently haven't had his consistency.
No way...when he does...there won't be any golfer I would be interested in watching! I know there are some great golfers out there...just none that interest me personally. I enjoy watching Tiger to this day.
That’s what we’re trying to figure out. It can’t happen until he stops the shenanigans.
Hate to break this news, but no one is the next Tiger. He’s the second best golfer of all time and the Top 2 will never be touched imo.
Someone's waiting until Tiger retires to be the best? They should just do that now, that's what I'd do.
I agree. Saying "pass the baton" isn't an option unless some phenom arrives on the scene.
